Stunning lakeside cycling, mountain views and a lively Bavarian town made Füssen one of our favourite stops in Germany. An excellent-value stellplatz and a place we wished we could have stayed longer.
Camping Waldfrieden — Saarburg 🇩🇪
A hillside campsite close to beautiful Saarburg, with excellent cycling, good facilities and easy access to the town’s lively square and famous waterfall.
Camping Cochem - Germany 🇩🇪
An attractive location for exploring Cochem and the Moselle Valley. While the town impressed us, the campsite itself didn’t quite match some of the memorable stops elsewhere on our trip. 🚐🍇🍷
Stellplatz Boppard 🇩🇪
A good-value stellplatz close to Boppard, with easy access to the town and excellent cycling along the Rhine to places such as Oberwesel.

A good lakeside campsite with spacious pitches, easy cycling and access to one of Bavaria’s most attractive lake districts. ⭐🚲🌊
Tauberromantik Campingplatz — Rothenburg ob der Tauber 🇩🇪
A superb campsite close to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, with excellent facilities, great cycling right from the gate and easy access to one of Germany’s most beautiful medieval towns. 🚐🏰🚴♀️
Wohnmobilstellplatz Dinkelsbühl (P2) 🇩🇪
One of our favourite German stopovers. A quiet, well-located stellplatz close to the charming old town of Dinkelsbühl, with plenty of cafés, bars and some unexpected stork spotting. 🏰🦩🚐
