Facilities
This is a proper holiday campsite with good shower and toilet blocks, laundry facilities, a restaurant and beach areas — everything you would expect from a larger resort-style site.
There was also a pool and spa, although we didn’t use them.
The Site
The campsite is well laid out with designated, tree-lined pitches. Our pitch was quite enclosed with no real view, but it was cosy and comfortable.
We were there right at the beginning of the season and the Bora wind was blowing strongly, so it certainly wasn’t beach weather. I imagine the campsite would feel quite different in the height of summer.
Eating
We had an excellent meal in the campsite restaurant.
There were also bars and restaurants within walking distance, although we didn’t visit them during our stay.
Visiting Split
We left Matilda at the campsite and caught the local bus into Split. It was an easy and convenient way to visit the city without having to worry about driving or parking.
Our Verdict
A well-equipped campsite and a good base for exploring Split. We didn’t use many of the resort facilities because of the time of year, but we’d happily stay again.
