The Stopover
We arrived to find the aire quite busy, with mainly Spanish and French motorhomes, although there were still a few spaces available.
The parking area was clean and well maintained, with a lovely outlook over the adjoining park on one side and other motorhomes parked on the opposite side.
Facilities
Fresh water, grey waste disposal, toilet emptying and rubbish bins are all located by the entrance to the car park.
Nearby Amenities
Across the park to the left is a supermarket and McDonald’s. Neither was open on Sunday, although the bakery inside the supermarket was operating, with the main shopping area sectioned off.
Exploring the Area
We unhitched the bikes and headed towards the coast, where we discovered beautiful sandy beaches, gardens and miles of cycle paths.
The seafront was bustling with families enjoying the sunshine, and the long stretch of beach, backed by apartments, reminded us of Llandudno.
The adjoining Parque de Las Llamas is also a fabulous place for a leisurely wander, with plenty of green space to enjoy.
Our Verdict
A great stopover that we would definitely use again.
Its convenient location and pleasant surroundings made it an ideal choice for our final night in Spain before catching the ferry home.
