Our Thoughts
This was purely a convenient overnight stop after arriving in France from the ferry. The location is excellent, only a few minutes from the port, making it ideal for a first or last night on a European trip.
The aire is large, well organised and felt secure. Although it lacks campsite facilities such as showers and toilets, it has everything most motorhomers need for a comfortable overnight stay.
One of its biggest advantages is its proximity to the seafront. If you arrive early enough, it's worth taking a stroll along the promenade and watching the ferries come and go.
For us, it wasn't a destination in its own right, but it did exactly what we wanted — a simple, stress-free stopover before continuing our journey.
