Matilda on Tour - Three Weeks on the Road โ€” Settling into Nomadic Life ๐Ÿš

Three weeks in, and the days have found a nice rhythm. Touch wood, no dramas this week. Weโ€™ve reached the Adriatic and are settling into the easy pace of life on the road ๐ŸŒŠ

Weโ€™re getting better at planning our routes, and the shopping is sorted โ€” three daysโ€™ food is more than enough and usually lasts closer to five. The little jobs that felt new at the start are becoming second nature.

Iโ€™ve always believed in stepping out of my comfort zone and really noticing whatโ€™s around me. Over the winter I started slowing down on my walks, taking more in โ€” and that mindset is shaping this trip too.

Even with photos, Iโ€™ve noticed a shift. Fewer shots, but better ones โ€” waiting for the moment rather than rushing it.

Now weโ€™ve reached the Balkans, it feels like a turning point. Time to enjoy the days, find a balance of walking, cycling, sightseeing, and simply loving life on the road.

Next up is Croatia ๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿ‡ท as we head towards Poreฤ โ€” somewhere we visited around 40 years ago. Iโ€™m sure a lot has changed, but it will be interesting to see what still feels familiar.

Thank you for following our journey so far. If youโ€™d like to keep up with future posts, you can subscribe for updates โ€” it really helps me know whoโ€™s out there reading along.
