Bosnia - 50 Days on the Road 🇧🇦

Fifty days into our journey, we’ve discovered that some of the best moments aren’t the busy ones. They’re the quiet evenings, the slower pace and simply enjoying life in the sunshine.

Bosnia - 50 Days on the Road 🇧🇦

After weeks of moving, planning and adjusting, something as simple as sunshine has changed the rhythm of our days.

We’ve found ourselves sitting outside more—reading, relaxing, just being. There’s less of that pull to go somewhere or do something. Life feels simpler in the sun..

Evenings have been the best part. Sitting outside with something to drink, watching the light fade… and that’s enough.

What we’ve learnt lately is that plans rarely go to plan—but often that turns out to be a blessing. Something else appears. A different route. A better stop. This trip keeps nudging us out of our comfort zone, but in a good way. We’re always learning, always adjusting.

One of the best parts lately has been chatting to local people. They’re always happy to help, and we’ve felt genuinely welcome. The only downside is that it makes it harder to move on. When where you are feels easy, it’s tempting to stay put.

Our plan now is to head north, slowly, and explore more of Bosnia. It’s a beautiful country—less polished, more real—and we’re enjoying that.

Right now, that feels like the real gift of this trip: the freedom to slow down and follow what turns up next.
