📱Tech Tip: Scan straight into a Folder in Files 📂
If you’ve already seen the long-press tip, this is just a gentle follow-on — one of those small things that quietly helps.
You can scan documents straight into the Files app, saving them exactly where you want them.
Open Files, go to the folder you need, then scroll to the bottom of the folder and long-press in a clear space (not on a file).
Choose Scan Documents, scan, give it a name, and save.
The scan lands neatly in the right place from the start.
If you long-press on a file instead, you’ll see options for that file — so the clear space at the bottom is the trick.
You can rename it later, or move it to another folder if needed — quick and tidy.
Nothing clever. Just a small way to avoid clutter and that familiar “where did I save that?” moment.
A little tech win worth knowing ☕📱
