When the Words Find Me
Gentle thoughts and everyday moments — reflections on life, growth, and gratitude.
🌿
Yesterday’s 3–2–1 Thursday from James Clear landed in my inbox with a post titled “How to Handle Idiots.”
“If someone is acting like an idiot, you can just move on and let them be wrong. You do not have a personal obligation to correct people who are committed to being stupid... you can simply reclaim your time and move on to more productive ventures.”
It couldn’t have arrived at a better (or worse) moment. 🌸 I’d just come through one of those conversations that leaves you frustrated, drained, and wondering why people make things harder than they need to be. The timing was uncanny — a gentle nudge to stop trying to fix what isn’t mine to fix.
✨ Reading those words reminded me that sometimes the wisest response is to step back, breathe, and protect your own peace. Not everything — or everyone — is yours to sort out. 🌼
🕊 Take a moment to breathe — and let go of what isn’t yours to carry.
