What Living Life to the Full Means to Me

A few thoughts about ordinary days, meaningful choices and making the most of the life I have.

What Living Life to the Full Means to Me

Life is made up of ordinary days, and how I spend those days eventually becomes the life I have lived.

I don’t expect to feel happy every moment. It matters more that I can look back and feel satisfied with my choices, the experiences I have had and the way I have treated people.

I want to notice what is around me, keep learning and spend more time creating than simply consuming. Writing, travelling, gardening, walking and cycling all add something meaningful to my life.

I see money as something to be used well—on what matters to me: freedom, experiences, simple pleasures and time with the people I love.

I want to use both my head and my heart, help when I choose to help, and remember that not every monkey is mine.

I cannot control everything that happens, but I can choose where I place my attention, how I respond and what I do with today.

For me, living life to the full means noticing the ordinary days, choosing what matters and making the most of the life I have.
