We’re Off Again: Matilda’s 2026 Adventure Begins 🚐🚲✨

So… here we go again. 😊

On 1 March we’re setting off in Matilda for our next European adventure — heading through France, Belgium and Germany and then gradually making our way down towards Croatia, with Poreč as our first big base.

This time we’re doing it the way we enjoy most: slower travel days, plenty of stopovers and a good mix of places — coasts, lakes, mountains plus a few city stops along the way for a proper wander around beautiful old towns.

I’ll be sharing updates as we go, with photos, small stories, and the occasional practical note from life in the van.

And I’m trying a small experiment this year too: I’m using George (my AI helper) to keep the planning more organised — routes, stopovers, checklists… we’ll see how it goes! 😄
