United Kingdom 🇬🇧

UK travels, walks, bike rides, short breaks and favourite places closer to home — proof that some of the best adventures are often right on our doorstep.

Not every adventure needs a ferry crossing or a long drive.

This section brings together my UK travels, short breaks, walks, campsites and favourite days out closer to home. From the North Wales coast and mountain views to welcoming campsites, gardens, golf courses and little discoveries along the way, these are the places and experiences that remind me how much there is to enjoy right on our doorstep.

It’s easy to dream about faraway places, but some of the best days are often the simplest: a good walk, a decent coffee stop, a view that makes you pause, or a place you’ve passed many times before and suddenly see in a different light.

🌿 Why I Love Exploring the UK

You don’t always have to travel hundreds of miles to have an adventure.

Some of the best days are spent discovering somewhere new, enjoying a walk or bike ride, sharing a coffee with friends, or simply finding a peaceful place to slow down for a while.

I hope these pages encourage you to explore a little more of this wonderful country—and perhaps discover a few places you’d never considered visiting.
