Our final days in Ruidera brought a wonderful walk, waterfalls, deer, cycling along the lagoons and our first proper Spanish lunch. A fabulous ending to our time in this beautiful corner of Spain

A welcome day off the road in Aranjuez, exploring olive-lined roads by bike and wandering through the beautiful Jardín del Príncipe. Magnificent trees, fountains, sunshine and a few little mishaps along the way.

A quiet day at sea, then into Spain and south to Aranda de Duero, where tapas, beer and a free aire made it feel like the trip had really begun.
