Our thoughts
Polidor Camping Resort was a very comfortable base for exploring Poreč and this part of the Istrian coast.
Although we visited early in the season and some of the facilities were still closed, the campsite itself was clean, modern and well maintained. The heated shower block was excellent and, after some chilly weather, it was lovely to have somewhere warm and comfortable.
The washroom building had more than just showers and toilets. There was an indoor children’s play area with a slide and a TV seating area where children’s programmes seemed to be playing throughout the day. I used the TV area for my morning yoga while waiting for the laundry, which worked perfectly well.
A dedicated cycle route ran close to the campsite, making it easy to leave Matilda behind. One day we cycled in one direction and the next day we headed the other way, which gave us a good chance to explore more of the local coastline.
The beach was around a 15 to 20-minute walk away. We enjoyed our stay here and would happily return.
