☕ Finding Calm Before the Coffee

A gentle pause before the world wakes up.

Most mornings begin the same way for me now — before coffee, before anything else, I head straight from the duvet to the mat. There’s something beautiful about moving when you’re only half awake: the muscles are warm and relaxed, the mind is quiet, and the whole body feels softer and more open. It’s become my favourite part of the day, a calm little window where I can ease into movement without rushing. 🌄✨

At the moment I’m doing a 30-day challenge, 30 different classes with Rob Sidoli at Yoga Anytime. I absolutely love it because it takes all the thinking out of the equation. Each session is just 20 minutes — press play, follow along, done. No scrolling, no “what shall I do today?”, just a simple daily rhythm that keeps me consistent. And consistency is where the magic happens: stronger legs, easier movement, looser muscles and a feeling of comfort that carries through the whole day. 💛

Yoga, for me, has become less about perfect poses and more about starting the day connected — to breath, to body, to that quiet part of myself that often gets drowned out as the hours roll on. A slow, intentional start… and the whole day feels different. 🧘‍♀️💫

🙏 A Little Thank You

A gentle thank you to Mel, who encouraged me to go along to that very first class, and to Claire Riley, whose teaching I enjoyed during the years before Covid changed everything. Their encouragement and guidance helped set me on this path.
