Our take

This was our final campsite in Europe before heading home and it proved to be an excellent choice.

The real attraction here is the location. Ypres is easy to reach by bike and makes a fascinating place to explore, particularly if you are interested in First World War history. We spent a few days cycling around the battlefields, visiting the Menin Gate and exploring the city itself.

The campsite is functional rather than luxurious, but it provides everything needed for a comfortable stay. For us it worked perfectly as a base for sightseeing rather than somewhere to sit around all day.
