Our take
Camping Bled is one of those places that stays with you long after you’ve left. The setting is simply stunning, with Lake Bled on one side and the Julian Alps providing an unforgettable backdrop.
The campsite itself is excellent—clean, well organised and clearly well cared for. Everything worked as it should, and thoughtful extras such as the boot wash and dog shower showed real attention to detail.
Despite visiting over the busy Bank Holiday weekend, the campsite never felt overcrowded, and there was still a relaxed atmosphere.
We stayed for four nights and could easily have stayed much longer. There are so many walking and cycling routes to explore directly from the campsite, making it an ideal base for an active holiday.
